Attention All 8th Graders

WASHINGTON D.C. Deadline Approaching!!

Year after year, I hear how parents are waiting to receive tax return money to register for the trip or make a last minute final payment.  Now that the holidays have passed, people are focusing on planning out the rest of the school year!  What a perfect time to remind everyone of the Gift of Education http://www.worldstridesfundraising.com/ecard.php  was not only good for the holidays it makes a GREAT advanced graduation gift or birthday present!

This personal fundraising/scholarship opportunity helps take the guesswork out of spending a tax return.  Students can send an e-card, a customized letter or post a link right onto Facebook letting family and friends know they are participating in a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience!  Last year alone, students raised over $320,000 using the Gift of Education – all of this BEFORE being able to reach many more people by posting directly to Facebook!  Many of my groups had one or more students raise their entire trip cost alone!

DATES TO REMEMBER

Final Payment Due for Washington D.C.: April 3, 2012
