Parents

We welcome your input and participation with your child's schooling.  A few things to remember about communicating with your child's teacher and staff members:

- You can email anyone at anytime through School Loop or ParentVUE.  You may use the school computers to do this.  You may also email them in your native language, it can be translated for them at the school.

- If you would like to meet with an administrator or teacher, please call the school ahead of time to make an appointment.  In addition to teaching and running the school, our administrators and teachers attend trainings and are involved with other family meetings.  So, to be sure you will get their undivided attention, kindly schedule ahead of time.

Thank you so much for your involvement!

Attention all 8th through 12th Grade Students: Summer School Registration Begins Monday, April 18

All 9th through 12th grade students who are interested in taking summer school classes to make up a grade to meet graduation requirements or to fulfill college entrance requirements must register using our online enrollment system.  The online system will be available starting Monday, April 18.  Summer school registration will continue until 5 p.m. May 15.

Current 8th through 11th graders also have the opportunity to take a Math Summer Bridge course to help prepare them for the course work that they will study in the coming school year.  These courses include Pre-Algebra, Pre-Geometry and Pre-Intermediate Algebra.  These summer courses will be taken for elective credit, and the grade issued will be a pass/no credit.  This is an excellent opportunity to get a jump start for next year.

Summer school registration begins with the completion of the application online at www.lbschools.net/summer.  After the application is submitted, the student and parent will receive an email with directions for selecting summer classes.  You should receive this email two to three school days after the application is submitted.

On Friday, April 8, 2016 Shoes for Athletes made a generous contribution of over 200 pairs of men’s and women’s athletic shoes to Lindbergh STEM Academy. Shoes for Athletes is a nonprofit organization created and maintained by Palos Verdes Peninsula High School senior Brett Jordan. The organization helps provide shoes for students involved in sports or are looking to get involved in sports, but are lacking the footwear.

A big “Thank You!” goes out to Brett Jordan for his philanthropic efforts and contribution to the community. Lindbergh students appreciate your thoughtful kindness.
