School District News

Parents

We welcome your input and participation with your child's schooling.  A few things to remember about communicating with your child's teacher and staff members:

- You can email anyone at anytime through School Loop or ParentVUE.  You may use the school computers to do this.  You may also email them in your native language, it can be translated for them at the school.

- If you would like to meet with an administrator or teacher, please call the school ahead of time to make an appointment.  In addition to teaching and running the school, our administrators and teachers attend trainings and are involved with other family meetings.  So, to be sure you will get their undivided attention, kindly schedule ahead of time.

Thank you so much for your involvement!

Common Core Practice Tests Available!

As you may know, the state of California is moving toward new assessments to go along with the Common Core standards.  These assessments will be done online.

To give students, parents and teachers a chance to see what the new tests are like, California has made sample assessments for ELA (English Language Arts) and math available online.  We encourage you to go through these to get an idea of what's expected and how the tests will work.

To try them, click the link below.  (Please note that Internet Explorer isn't supported at the moment so you'll need to use Firefox, Safari or Chrome.)
